Ed Barnard will be looking to continue his fine form as he bids to seal a spot in the final of the Western Australia Cricket Association First Grade One-Day competition with Scarborough CC on Sunday.
The Worcestershire CCC all-rounder and his team-mates will take on Claremont-Nedlands in the 50 over semi-final at Cresswell Park.
England Lions player Barnard and Co qualified for the last four by finishing fourth in the One-Day final group placings.
They will have to pull out all the stops to reach the February 17 final at the WACA as their opponents came top.
But before that Barnard and Scarborough have an equally important First Grade two-day game at home to Gosnells beginning tomorrow (Saturday).
The top six teams go through to the eliminator stages and Scarborough are currently occupying ninth spot but are only six points off sixth placed Fremantle with three games to play.
Scarborough have won seven and lost five of their 12 matches to date.
Barnard has achieved fifty plus scores in four of his last five innings in First Grade cricket and has made a contribution with the ball since resuming bowling in the New Year.
He had overall figures of 26-8-58-3 in the last First Grade match against Mount Lawley.
