Three Worcestershire players were reunited with their team-mates after flying direct from Australia to link up with the county's pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi.
Richard Oliver, Ross Whiteley and Jack Shantry have been performing in grade cricket for Geelong City, Prospect CC and Greenvale Kangaroos respectively during the past five months.
Opening batsman Oliver has had a winter to remember skippering Geelong and he finished top of the batting averages.
In all competitions the left hander amassed 769 runs from 17 innings at an average of 51.27 with two centuries and five fifties.
His hundreds came against Murgeboluc (116) and Lara Cc (121) and he helped his side to the verge of the play-off finals in the Geelong Cricket Association First Division.
All-rounder Whiteley has also been successful with the bat for Prospect CC in the South Australian Cricket Association 'A' grade.
He topped the averages with 443 runs at an average of 36.92 with a highest score of 106 against Adelaide University.
Whiteley was also third leading wicket-taker with 12 at an average of 33.58 runs apiece with a best return of 3-21 against Northern Districts.
His overall figures were 99-10-403-12.
County promotion hero Shantry made useful contributions with bat and ball for the Kangaroos in the Victorian Premier Cricket Bartercard Men's Premier Firsts competition.
He scored 284 runs at an average of 20.29 with a highest score of 48 against Prahran and picked up 20 wickets in 15 matches at an average of 20.80.
His overall figures were 171.1-34-416-20 with a best performance of 3-28 against Frankston Peninsula.
