Worcestershire Supporters' Association members will soon be able to read about the history of the Association thanks to the sterling efforts of Andrew Thomas.
Andrew was responsible for the superb 440 page book 'Pears 150' which was released to mark 150 years of Worcestershire CCC.
Now he has written a potted history of the Supporters' Association which is due to be published for the start of the 2017 season.
Association members will be entitled to a complimentary copy of the A5 size 56 page booklet although this must be collected from the Association Shop at the back of the Basil D'Oliveira Stand on match days.
But non members can also purchase a copy for £5 and read about the key role of the Association in helping to fund many Worcestershire CCC projects including the purchasing of the ground in 1976.
Association chairman Andrew Jenkins paid tribute to Andrew Thomas's efforts.
He said: "Andrew's book 'Pears 150' was a superb publication and he has done another excellent job with his potted history of the Association.
"It will be a fascinating read for not just Supporters' Association members but all lovers of Worcestershire CCC cricket.
"It is currently at the printers and will be ready for the start of the season."
Meanwhile, anyone still wishing to obtain a copy of 'Pears 150' can also purchase one from the Association shop on match days this season, priced £28.
