New signing, Adam Hose, has registered for the 2023 Pakistan Super League draft, which takes place on Sunday, December 18.
Hose is one of 29 foreign players in the ‘Diamond’ category for the eighth season of the competition, which runs from February 9 to March 19.
Other players in the ‘Diamond’ group include Jason Roy, Ollie Pope, Will Jacks, Craig Overton, Luke Wood, Carlos Brathwaite, David Wiese, Imran Tahir and Olly Stone.
If successful in the draft, it will be Hose’s first taste of the PSL during a busy winter of cricket for the big-hitting batter.
He is now preparing to participate in the Big Bash League in Australia for Adelaide Strikers after playing for Northern Warriors in the Abu Dhabi T10 League and scoring a half-century in his final appearance.
Hose is one of the Strikers overseas signings alongside Rashid Khan and Colin de Grandhomme.
He can look forward to playing in front of large crowds, with the Adelaide Oval having a capacity of nearly 54,000.
The Strikers will play 14 group games in the space of 41 days, with the top five teams going forward to the knockout rounds before the final on February 4.
Their opening game is on December 14 at home to Sydney Sixers.
