Worcestershire Academy will be hoping for better luck with the weather when they take on Leicestershire in a 50 Over clash as part of the 2017 Tri-Series at RGS Worcester tomorrow (Thursday).
The second of two 50 over games with Ireland Under-19s at Bromsgrove CC was abandoned yesterday (Tuesday) after only seven overs play was possible.
In that short period of time, The Academy scored 38-0 after being put into bat with Zain Ul-Hassan unbeaten on 16 from 23 balls and Jujhar Johal 13 not out from 20 deliveries.
The pair are both included in the squad to face Leicestershire in a series which also features Northamptonshire.
Worcestershire Academy will be seeking their first victory in the competition after losing the two T20 matches 10 days ago.
The three counties will also play three-day fixtures in the Tri-Series.
