Worcestershire CCC Academy remain top of Group 4A in the Royal London Under-17s County Cup despite suffering their first defeat of 2019 against Hampshire at Totton and Eling CC.
The Academy had won their opening three matches in impressive style but went down by nine wickets to Hampshire.
Worcestershire opted to bat and were bowled out for 120 in 35.1 overs.
They were 43-7 at one stage before skipper Matt Davis (44) and Josh Baker (16) added 56 for the seventh wicket.
Davis struck nine fours in his 34 ball knock with Tom Prest (3-35) and Cameron Khanna (3-31) the most successful bowlers.
Baker (1-22) made a quick breakthrough when Hampshire batted in removing Tom South (1) with only three on the board.
But Prest (83 not out off 54 balls with 15 fours) and Fletcha Middleton (31 not out) hurried Hampshire to victory in 17 overs.
