Worcestershire Academy (Under-18s) will launch their ECB Under-18 T20 Group Two campaign tomorrow (Sunday) when they take on Cricket Wales at Sophia Gardens (10.30am).
The squad includes three newcomers to the Academy for the 2022-2023 intake in left arm spinner Josh Leach, batter Louie Hursthouse and keeper-batter Seth Essenhigh.
The Academy will play a total of 12 group matches plus a series of friendlies in the same format to ensure they play as much cricket as possible.
After the Cricket Wales game, the Academy will then take on Northamptonshire in a T20 friendly at the same venue beginning at 1.45pm.
All-rounder Reeve Evitts, who has already experienced Seconds cricket for Worcestershire, will skipper the Academy.
