Worcestershire CCC Academy switch back to 50 over cricket tomorrow (Tuesday) when they take on Northamptonshire CC Academy at Dumbleton CC as part of the Tri-Series also involving Leicestershire (11am start).
Academy Coach Elliot Wilson has named a 12 strong squad for the fixture.
It includes Rehaan Edavaleth, Henry Cullen and Josh Baker who were all part of the Midlands squad for the Bunburys at Millfield School earlier this month.
The Academy went down to Warwickshire Under-19s in two T20 matches at Barnt Green yesterday.
In Game One, Riecko Parker-Cole top-scored with 41 not out for Worcestershire to help rescue them from 56-6 to reach 126-7 after being put into bat.
He put on 70 for the seventh wicket with Pete Clark who was run out for 24.
Warwickshire reached 127-5 in reply off 18 overs.
Baker (4-1-23-1), Josh Breed (4-0-24-1) and Pete Clark (3-0-18-1) all bowled tidily with Parker Cole (3-0-28-1) and Ed Bragg (2-0-21-1) the other wicket-takers.
In Game Two, Warwickshire chose to bat and totalled 169-5.
Baker (4-0-31-2) and Parker-Cole (4-0-37-2) were the most successful bowlers while Clark bowled four overs for 26 runs. Bragg (1-21) also claimed a wicket.
When Worcestershire replied, Breed hit 56 off just 34 balls with two sixes and five fours going in at number five.
A stand of 44 with Dan Holland (15) enabled Worcestershire to partially recover from 26-4.
Breed was eventually ninth out with the total on 131 and Worcestershire did not add to that tally before being bowled out in 17.5 overs to lose by 38 runs.
