Worcestershire CCC Academy went down by seven wickets to South and South West Under-15s in a 50 over match at Great Rissington Cricket Club.
The Academy won the toss and decided to batted first and were restricted to 143-9 off their 50 overs.
Jujhar Johal top-scored with 28 with Dillon Pennington (21) and Jack Haynes (20) the other main contributors.
In reply South & South West Under 15's reached their target in 31.1 overs and finished on 144-3.
Charles Clist top-scored with an unbeaten 51 off 46 balls, with seven fours and two sixes.
The wicket-takers for the Academy were Johal (1-12 off 3.1 overs), Ryan Wheldon (1-14 off four overs) and Aaron Tomson (1-28 off eight overs).
The Academy will return to action with two 50 over games in the space of 72 hours this week.
They will take on Worcester Gents at Worcester Nomads CC on Thursday (July 2) and then face Gloucestershire Academy at Dumbleton CC on Sunday (July 5) with both games starting at 11am.
