Worcestershire Academy (Under-18s) are in action on Sunday in the second round of the ECB Under-18 50 Over Plate competition and hoping for more success in the tournament.
They will take on Shropshire Under-18s at Barnt Green with a 11 am start time.
Last summer the Academy went onto reach the final of the Plate tournament before losing to Surrey at Kibworth CC in September.
The Academy were knocked out of the 2024 main tournament when losing narrowly to Staffordshire despite a fine century from Seth Essenhigh.
A 12 strong squad has been selected and Ben Clarke will captain the side with Flynn Gunston behind the stumps.
