Chairman, Fanos Hira, is excited to welcome Members back to New Road for the first time in 20 months as Worcestershire host Derbyshire tomorrow in the LV=Insurance County Championship.
“Everyone, everywhere, is having to adapt to what’s in front of them at the moment, and we as a venue are no different.
“Due to the configuration of New Road, and to follow Government, Stadium & Grounds Agency and Local Authority guidelines we have had to put many measures in place to allow as many spectators as possible back into New Road to watch the cricket.
“Every stadium in the UK is different in terms of layout, and each has its nuances and also has to follow its own local authority’s Safety Advisory Group’s guidelines.
“Keeping staff and spectators safe is our number one priority, and we hope that everyone enjoys being back watching Worcestershire from tomorrow.”
