The start of Worcestershire Rapids NatWest T20 Blast encounter with Durham Jets at New Road has been delayed after overnight and morning rain.
Play was unable to get underway in the televised encounter at the scheduled time of 2.30pm.
But the umpires are due to make a further inspection at 3pm and the encouraging news is a brighter forecast for the remainder of the afternoon.
The groundstaff are currently undertaking mopping up operations in bright sunshine.
Worcestershire will be seeking a fourth successive win after last night's five wicket success over Leicestershire Foxes.
They will also be looking to gain revenge for a 29 run defeat at the hands of the Jets in the opening T20 Blast match of the summer.
