Worcestershire County Cricket Club is excited to announce details of the latest event in its 2017 corporate calendar as the Club’s annual golf day is now confirmed to take place at Sapey Golf Club on Friday 28th April 2017.

The Rowan Course at Sapey has played host to the Club’s annual golf day for the past two years and features 18 holes on 6,003 yards set high in the rolling hills of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire border, offering a stunning backdrop for the day and, combined with its challenging par of 69, make it a delight for all guests who will also have complimentary use of the Putting Green for the duration.

Tea, coffee and bacon rolls will be served in the clubhouse on arrival before action commences with a shotgun start at 1.30pm and the afternoon’s play will be followed by a delicious three-course dinner in the clubhouse, with a raffle taking place on the evening at which host Dave Bradley will be on hand to present prizes to the day’s winners.

A team of four costs just £295 plus VAT,  but if you’re struggling to scramble together enough players for a fourball then worry not, as a number of the Worcestershire CCC players will be available to play on the day if required.

Billy Ocean will be one of the head-liners at Worcestershire CCC's Concert Of Legends at New Road on September 9 - but there are more to come!

Managing Director Jon Graham confirmed there will be two more leading acts to be announced in the near future for the all-day event.

It will be the second 'Legends' concert at the County Ground after the success of the 2016 venture which was head-lined by reggae giants UB40.

Billy Ocean, who took his stage name from the Ocean Estate in the East End where he lived, enjoyed a string of massive hits in the 1970s and 1980s.

His initial burst of success came via 'Love Really Hurts Without You' and 'Red Light Spells Danger' which both reached number two in the UK charts.

But even bigger success came via the likes of 'Caribbean Queen', 'Suddenly', and the UK number one 'When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going.'

He also enjoyed a trio of chart-toppers in the USA via 'Caribbean Queen', 'There'll Be Sad Songs To Make You Cry' and 'Get Outta My Dreams, Get Into My Car.'

Top 10 albums were also achieved in this country with 'Suddenly'. 'Love Zone' and 'Tear Down The Walls.'

Ocean returned to touring after a 15 year break and is one of the hottest properties on the revival circuit.

Super Early Bird tickets are now available priced just £35! This price will increase after the second artist is announce, so make sure you purchase now! Please Click here
