Whiteley Included In Worcs Squad For Trip To Trent Bridge

Ross Whiteley has been included in the Worcestershire squad for the LV = County Championship clash with Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge beginning on Monday (11am).

The former Derbyshire all-rounder, who has made two Championship appearances so far this season, comes into contention as part of a 12 man party.

Worcestershire will have to make an enforced change from the side which collected 12 points from the drawn game with Middlesex at Uxbridge.

All-rounder Moeen Ali has ended his current spell of cricket with the county, which involved two Championship and six NatWest T20 Blast appearances, and linked up again with England as part of their training camp in Spain.

Worcestershire are starting the second half of their Championship programme and are currently outside of the bottom two – one of their main objectives for the 2015 campaign.

But Nottinghamshire slipped into ninth position after their innings defeat by Yorkshire last week.
