Kohler-Cadmore scored his highest T20 Blast score of 75 against Notts Outlaws at Trent Bridge 10 days ago.
The former Malvern College pupil followed that up with a fine 66 in Friday's home clash with Birmingham Bears.
It was his third half century of the campaign and he has edged just in front of Mitchell ahead of the clash with Yorkshire Vikings at Headingley on 341 runs.
Moeen Ali is top of the Rapids batting averages with 238 runs from his six knocks at an average of 39.67.
Saeed Ajmal continues to lead the way in the bowling averages and in his nine appearances is averaging nearly two wickets a game.
He has 17 wickets to his name at an average of 15.76 runs apiece.
But it is his fellow spinner Brett D'Oliveira who has the best economy rate of the Rapids bowlers – conceding an average of just 6.20 runs per over
